Some of you may already be familiar with the photoblog, Memento. It's been up and running for over two years now. Junnie, the man behind the lens has participated in many different projects over the years (May Day, Connect 8, 26 Things 2, Alphotobet and many more). He has also done a lot of travelling over the years (Paris, Greece, and more). Well his travels have finally landed him in Canada. Junnie is now a landed immigrant and I would like to welcome him as a Toronto Area Photoblogger. Hopefully, he be able to make it out to our November Meet so we can all formally welcome him.

For anyone following zine culture over the last few years, or for anyone who reads Eye Magazine on a regular basis, you might be familiar with the comic work of Matthew Blackett aka Matt B. Maybe you are interested in Toronto's space issues or have read Spacing Magazine, two other projects Matt is involved with in the city. On top of all this, Matt runs his own Graphic Design company, Matt B Media and is the Art Director for Kiss Machine. I have to wonder, when he has time to do all of this. But I have a secret about Matt, which you will hear here first. Matt B has recently started his own photoblog at mattbimages.com. There's no fancy blogging tools as the backbone of the site, and there is no comments functionality, but there are plenty of wonderful images that he has taken, that he has decided to share. Here are a couple of my favorites |
