View Article  Wintery trees.
Miles over at Mute has posted this wonderfully stark, yet stunning image of bare trees against a glorious blue sky. Yes my friends, winter is ahead of us and will be here soon.

Mark over at Selective Memory has started posting again after a two month hiatus. Sometimes life and priorities take over and that's okay. But I must say, I am please to see that Mark is back and look forward to seeing his almost daily offerings once again.

Carrie from Delineated bought a new Black Digital Rebel last Friday a purchase she has been putting off for weeks now. On Saturday evening, we found ourselves on Queen Street West where she thought she would try her hand at panning. The shot below of a skate boarder was the result of standing along Queen Street for about an hour.

Gayla has posted this stark, yet stricking image of the railroad tracks by her home. They are not a new subject for her, but there is definitely something haunting about this image that draws me in. Shot with a Horizon 202 (I think Gayla is the only photoblogger in Toronto with one of these, definitely on my wish list), you totally get a new and interesting perspective of this urban wasteland.

Andrew at Worksongs. captured this beautiful scene in a closed down private school. The colours of the cabinets and the floor tile really stand out. Also the left over math work on the chalk board add to the images, "frozen in time" feel.

Jay is starting to post a series of images that he recently shot at the Abandoned Whitby Psychiatric Hospital called Apple Psych. Since everyone else has captured the facilities in all it's glory, Jay thought he would try something different, by using a bright red apple as a prop. The series starts today and will continue through the week.

Yesterday, Sam made his readers geuss how he created this abstract geometric image with a simple digital camera and no photoshop tricks. His readers posted their geusses over on his comments and in his forum. Today, Sam explains how the photo was taken over at his forum. Very clever.

Matt O'Sullivan from The Narrative pulls out the smoke and mirrors as he inadvertently fools people to believe that he actually shot this scene in downtown Toronto. What people don't realize at first is that the woman, is actually a part of a Town Shoes Advertisement.
View Article  Now that's what I call graffiti!
Jay Morrison captures some interesting graffiti over at his blog Art is Everywhere. Definitely a piece of work that almost seems like a tribute to photobloggers everywhere. Nice find Jay. Now I wonder if Jay will reveal this location of this jem, so the rest of us can photoblog it to hell.
